European biocide regulations establish that, from January 1, 2019, the use of products of the hypochlorite family that have not been registered in the ECHA is prohibited for the disinfection of drinking water systems and tanks.
1. It complies with all the requirements demanded by current European regulations to be used in disinfection treatments of drinking water systems.
2. The active substance was approved under Regulation (EU) No 528/2012 concerning the marketing and use of biocidal products by means of the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) No 2017/1274 of July 14, 2017 and, therefore, it was included in the list of approved active substances of ECHA.
3. It belongs to Main Group 1: PT4 biocides; surface disinfectants in contact with food and feed.
4. It also complies with the Note AC-2018-01-26/10/2018 published by the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare, named: Substances for the maintenance, cleaning and disinfection of surfaces in contact with water for human consumption.
