27 Mar Membrane fouling in a reverse osmosis pilot plant integrated in a biological reactor to obtain regenerated water
Adiquímica, along with the laboratory of Chemical and Environmental Engineering, University of Girona Lequia-UdG) has been awarded the “Best Poster Award” during the “8th International Conference on Water Reclamation y Reuse” of the International Water Association (IWA) congress held in Barcelona last September. Under this format poster presented the paper “Control of fouling in MBR-RO coupled systems”, championed by George Moreno of Lequia.
This paper evaluates a system that integrates a membrane bioreactor with a reverse osmosis unit as a potential process for urban waste water treatment obtaining an effluent with a very high quality of reuse.
