The high pressure boilers under study presented, sporadically, pH regulation problems of water inside. The pH drops below acceptable limits and must be increased to a very substantial over a period of several days the alkaline product dosage to obtain the desired pH again. After the initial period, the dose is decreased slowly alkali and the pH of the boiler returns to normal operation.
