07 July, 2022Water treatment in the pharmaceutical industry is defined by one key characteristic: quality. As in other industries where the control of water parameters is crucial, in the case of the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring the quality of water for medicines and derivatives according to production standards is strictly necessary.
Adiquímica, with more than 40 years of experience in the sector, produces and provides products, analysis, equipment and services designed to guarantee water production quality in the pharmaceutical industry.
Through the customisation of water treatments in cooling, steam, and pretreatment water systems, Adiquímica has positioned itself as one of the leaders in the sector on a national scale. Likewise, Adiquímica designs, installs, and maintains reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration plants, demineralised water production plants using resins or EDIs, effluent treatment plants, and all the equipment required to maintain water with the required quality.
We have extensive experience in water treatment in the pharmaceutical industry, which needs to have water free of relevant contaminants.
Certain contaminants must be eliminated from production processes and we have a range of customized treatments available for its maximum reduction:
In our laboratories we can analyse the key parameters associated to the water of the facilities with the required precision according to the recommendations of the GAMP, cGMP and FDA guidelines. Thanks to our extensive network of licensed field technicians/engineers and the best technical means supported by a powerful R&D department, we offer confidence and guarantees of compliance for any facility.
Within the range of services, we are specialists in chemical treatment design and water control for the water-steam cycle, cooling circuits, process conditions and discharge limitations, and technical solutions for the correct control and operation of the PTA.
Thanks to our extensive knowledge and experience, we have designed equipment and software that adapt to the specific needs of each plant, such as our Adicontrol® range of equipment. This equipment, based on our own technology, allows control in the implementation of the treatment and its (remote) monitoring for a greater response capacity in the event of deviation from the recommended operating values.
We have both R&D and equipment departments that analyse and study each specific situation in order to be able to recommend the best treatment option, proposing, for example, the installation of sanitisable or conventional reverse osmosis equipment, filtration equipment and/or dosing equipment. We design, install and maintain these equipment, providing a comprehensive water treatment service.
We have the following fields of action:
At Adiquimica, we are partners with our clients, and our proactivity when it comes to providing solutions to their problems is something they always appreciate. In addition to the customized solutions, we have a powerful in-house laboratory that gives us the necessary agility to modify and optimize treatments.
We have the latest legal updates on legionellosis and accessing to documentation is always available thanks to our digital user area.
As special services, we also offer on-demand, internal plant personnel to carry out daily tasks assigned to water treatment (checking pumps, modifying dosage, on-site measurements, etc.) and personalised training courses to get to know the needs of each installation as much as possible.
