This comprehensive treatment covers everything from cooling towers to closed-loop direct-to-chip liquid cooling circuits. This strategy improves energy efficiency (PUE) and water efficiency (WUE), ensuring reliable and continuous performance of the installation.

Chemical treatment for closed-loop circuits

Closed-loop circuits operate using a mixture of glycol and deionized water, and are highly complex due to their mixed metallurgy, including copper, aluminum, stainless steel and brass. The risk of galvanic corrosion and pitting is particularly critical in direct-to-chip liquid cooling.

To protect the entire system against corrosion, we apply treatments based on a synergistic blend of anodic, cathodic and organic inhibitors, combined with scale inhibitors and dispersants to prevent the build-up of deposits and ensure optimal heat transfer, as well as biocides for microbiological control.

Chemical treatment of cooling towers

In cooling towers, we apply combined anti-scaling and anti-corrosion products to prevent corrosion and scale formation and maximize performance, as well as specific biocides to prevent microbiological contamination, which are effective at eliminating Legionella bacteria and comply with current legislation.

ADICONTROL® technology monitors critical parameters in real time: product level, temperature, pH, turbidity, conductivity, degree of corrosion and antifreeze level. It ensures the protection of cooling systems, particularly the liquid flowing directly to the chip, by monitoring KPIs and utilising an advanced alarm system to detect deviations. The team of technicians and experts at our regional offices manages the data and key aspects to provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations, integrating the technology with a continuous analytical monitoring service.
